morning prayer

Morning prayer:

Father God, I thank you for always being loving, merciful and forgiving towards me. I am loved by You in all that I do and there’s nothing I can do to earn Your love. I pray over my day today. I pray that You will protect and guard over my journeys, comings and goings and every person I encounter. Father, I pray that I will be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s voice today and aim to be Holy as You are holy.

Make me walk in love, peace, gentleness, faithfulness, joy, patience, kindness, goodness and self-control. Father, I have Your Spirit living within me – make me aware of that every day. Allow me to to glorify You today; holding Your Word in my heart and loving people like You do Father. Open my eyes to see people like You do. I denounce any lies that I have believed about myself, and I ask for Your love and protection over my mind, actions and thoughts today. At any point today, Father, let me not draw back from asking You for help; whether it’s a good or bad situation.

Father, I pray for boldness and humility to involve You in all that I do and say today. Forgive me as I forgive others. Lord, bless my family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances. Let Your favour be upon them. I ask Father God to let the light of Christ be revealed through me to everyone around me, so You will be glorified. Whatever happens today, Father, good or bad, I pray that I will see You through it all. Today is the day You have made Father, let me be happy and rejoice in it.

Our Father which art in Heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.

Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in Heaven

Give us this day our daily bread

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil;

For thine is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory
